The Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Area, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, and his support group, Team JC, on Saturday stormed Idumubo quarters in Ubulu-Uku to pay last respect to a deceased couple, Primate Simon Ufuegbune and his wife, Adim Felicia Ufuegbune.

The deceased couple, it was gathered, trained the wife of Chukwunwike’s Personal Assistant, Special Duties, Mr. Anthony Ezenwani.

In the entourage were Vice Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Area, Hon. Amaka Adigwe; Deputy Leader of Aniocha South’s Legislative Arm, Hon. Ugochukwu Ikekwuni and Hon. Pius Okonjo, Special Assistant (Political) to former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

Others are Aniocha South’s Supervisory Councillor for Agriculture, Mr. Stephen Ukah; former Ward 4 Councilor, Hon. Chiedu Aduba; Special Adviser to Hon. Jude Chukwunwike, Mr. John Odiaka and the Information Officer to the Local Government Area, Mr. Sammy Okonta.

Primate Ufuegbune, popularly known as The man, died at 90 years. Three months after his demise, his wife, Admin Felicia Ufuegbune, died at 75.

“There were lovebirds when they were alive. They went out together and did virtually everything together. Little wonder why the wife could not cope living alone. She died three months after her husband’s death”, a family member explained.
