Rt. Hon. Joan Onyemaechi Adanioma led the cast of four women and twenty-two men sworn in as Commissioners on Tuesday to function in various capacities in the Delta State Executive Council (DSEC).

They were tasked with the responsibility of effecting meaningful development, facilitating opportunities for all and enhancing peace and security through their respective ministries while acting as field generals of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in delivering the M.O.R.E Agenda.

At the Dome Event Center, Asaba, the Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Area, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, in company of his political associates from Aniocha South joined other legion of chieftains from other local government areas to grace the event.

It was a colourful event as the lioness of Aniocha South, Rt. Hon. Joan Onyemaechi, and the 25 other noble men and women were sworn in.

“This government will do everything within its power to ensure that every Deltan is catered for”, said Governor Oborevwori.

He urged the Commissioners to be humble and focus on moving the state forward.

“Our people are going through very difficult times. Therefore, any of us that has the opportunity to serve the public must do so giving the people a sense of belonging”, the governor said.
