The free medical outreach programme of Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike continued today with residents of Azagba-Ogwashi, Olloh, Olodu, Otulu, Edo, Aboh-Ogwashi and students of Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku getting their turn at Azagba-Ogwashi Town Hall venue of the programme. Students, women, children and the elderly on Wednesday stormed the town hall in Asagba-Ogwashi community along Polytechnic Road in their hundreds to take advantage of the free medical care provided by the Executive Chairman.

The beneficiaries also included persons living with disabilities to ensure that vulnerable groups were also captured in the programme. The purpose is to improve the well being of children and ensure they survive, grow, and develop.

Recall that Chukwunwike had earlier in a statement said that the outreach which started in August 7th and ends in August 20th is in line with his administration’s determination to better the lot of the people through an effective Public Private Partnership structure (PPP).

The Medical Outreach has been providing and supporting the needy with free healthcare and medical assistance, with the hope of giving everyone a chance to quality healthcare service. This has been underpinned by his etho that good and quality health status of individuals are the most vital driver for economic growth and impact in our society. As the saying goes, ‘health is wealth’ as when the residents are healthy, the nation is healthy and wealthy.

One of the leaders in Ward 1, Hon. Kenneth Izuorah, was on ground to supervise and coordinate the exercise and also reiterated that the exercise was a welcome development for residents of Ogwashi-Uku in general

The exercise featured deworming, eye-check up, health talk and counseling, high and low blood pressure, sugar level check, free medications and many more.
