Chukwunwike’s free medical outreach programme hits Adonte, Abah-Unor as residents commend project

The medical outreach team led by Dr.Victor Azubuike courtesy of the Executive Chairman of Aniocha South Local Government Area, Hon. Pastor Jude Chukwunwike, stormed Unu Primary School in Umushu Quarters, Abah-Unor in Aniocha South LGA.

The turn out was very impressive women children, infants, less privileged, youths and men from various communities were on hand to take advantage of the free medical services

Outreach services such as this are one of the visible possibilities to enhance access to professional health care and to improve overall retention at local level. Better mobilization of urban health workers to serve remote or underserved areas is a strategy to improve access to health to the population in remote and rural areas

The people were happy to receive medical assistance as they turned at en mass for the exercise. They thanked God for touching the heart of the council boss to come to their aide at this trying time and also prayed that the council boss would attain greater heights.

Similarly, the councillor representing Abah-Unor, Umute and Ukwu-Uba, Hon. Kingsley Maduabunachukwu Onyeogo, alongside the councillor representing Adonte, Hon. Ukwandi Chinyere were on ground to supervise the exercise.
